Green Day

And now for a change Rock won the votation.

Well, I know that usually, I post the most recent albums that are lauched, but for this ocassion I will open an exception, because I would like to dedicate this band to a person that was and it will be always very special to me.

Green Day is an American rock trio formed in 1987. The band has consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass guitar, vocals), and Tré Cool (drums, percussion) for the majority of its existence.

In my opinion, Green Day is one of the bests Punk Rock bands at the moment. Their musics are composed by distorted guitar, fast, manic drums and high-treble bass. The style and lyrics of the band are very unique, so they can distinguish them self's among many other bands.

Here are a some of my favorites songs from Green Day.

Green Day - American Idiot

Green Day - Basket Case

Green Day - Jesus Of Suburbia

Green Day - Wake me up when September ends

Green Day - Longview

Green Day - Minority

Testament - The Formation Of Damnation

And once again Metal won the votation.

So this time I choose a Thrash Metal band, Testament.

Their lastest album is The Formation Of Damnation.
It is the ninth studio album by Testament, which was released on April 29, 2008. It is the first album Testament has released since 1999's The Gathering, although the band re-recorded some of their early material for 2001's. It is also Testament's first release with original guitarist Alex Skolnick since 1992's The Ritual and bassist Greg Christian since 1994's Low.

The album debuted at no. 59 on the Billboard 200 Chart, selling 11,900 copies in its first week. It won the "Best Album" award at Metal Hammer's Golden Gods Awards ceremony on 16th June 2008, beating albums by Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Children of Bodom and Down.

Here are a few songs from this new album. I hope that you enjoy it.

Testament - More Than Meets The Eye

Testament - The Evil Has Landed

Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone

As we can see, the results of the votation, once again, were in favour of metal.

So this time I decided to talk about Slipknot, I know that the album was lauched a few months ago, but it's a band that i like.

Slipknot has released their fourth studio album All Hope Is Gone on August 20, 2008. It is the first Silpknot album to ever peak at number 1 on the Billboard 200. Preparition for the album the album started in October 2007 with recording pushed back to February 2008. For this release the band has expressed an interest in making it heaviest album to date with an expansion of the trash metal riffing introduced on Vol.3. However, they also want to make it their most experimental record, and will be including more acoustic guitars and melodic vocals, as well as introducing hi-hats and cymblas to the additional percussion.

My opinion about this album is that when we start to listen and the tracks are passing by, we think that the album is realy heavy and hardcore, but at the middle we becomes more softly. As the band said it's an experimental record for that we can find the explanation.

Now here it cames a few tracks from the new album:

Slipknot - Psychosocial

Slipknot - Gematria

Slipknot - Sulfur

Slipknot - Dead Memories

Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone

AC/DC - Black Ice

Well as we can see, metal won the votation.
So I'm going to talk about a band that is known as Hard Rock but also as Heavy Metal.
I'm talking about AC/DC

Black Ice is the 15th studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, released on October 20, 2008 for Australia and October 22 for the rest of the world. It is their first album in eight years, since the release of Stiff Upper Lip in 2000, the longest gap between AC/DC's studio albums to date. It is also AC/DC's longest studio album to date.

Album name origin

According to Angus Young, the term Black Ice refers to playing gigs during the winter in the Young brothers' native country of Scotland. In an interview, Angus said that "it rolled off the tongue" and that it reminds him of "radio warnings up north of black ice."

Now you have here a few songs from this new album. And as you will be able to see, they stay good as always.

AC/DC - Rock 'N Rool Train

AC/DC - Skies On Fire

AC/DC - Big Jack

AC/DC - She Likes Rock 'N Roll

AC/DC - Black Ice

Metallica - Death Magnetic

Death Magnetic is the ninth studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on September 10, 2008 by Warner Bros. Records. The album is the band's fifth consecutive studio album to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 in the United States, making Metallica the first band ever to achieve five consecutive #1 debuts.

About this new album, I just think that it's one of the best albums that they ever made. They came back to their origins and reveal that as older they get better they become.

This is the first videoclip lauched to the chart's.

I hope that you like.

Here, are some other music from this album.

Metallica - All nightmare long

Metallica - Cyanide

Metallica - The Judas Kiss

Metallica - My Apocalipse

Now I'm counting with you to comment and tell us what do you think of this lastest album of Metallica and what do you think about the band.

Thank you.

This is YOUR music consulter.

Hi everyone.

This is my blog as you can see, but his creation has a purpose.
My aim with this blog is to make it look like a Music Forum, where I, week by week, post a new album from a band, a new single, a new video, and you can write your opinion about the "subject" that is propose.

Right now, I need that you make your suggestion of what kind of music or band, group should I write about it first.

So, please I ask you, help me make this project go forward.

(If you could, please leave your comments in English. Thank you.)
