As we can see, the results of the votation, once again, were in favour of metal.
So this time I decided to talk about Slipknot, I know that the album was lauched a few months ago, but it's a band that i like.
Slipknot has released their fourth studio album All Hope Is Gone on August 20, 2008. It is the first Silpknot album to ever peak at number 1 on the Billboard 200. Preparition for the album the album started in October 2007 with recording pushed back to February 2008. For this release the band has expressed an interest in making it heaviest album to date with an expansion of the trash metal riffing introduced on Vol.3. However, they also want to make it their most experimental record, and will be including more acoustic guitars and melodic vocals, as well as introducing hi-hats and cymblas to the additional percussion.
My opinion about this album is that when we start to listen and the tracks are passing by, we think that the album is realy heavy and hardcore, but at the middle we becomes more softly. As the band said it's an experimental record for that we can find the explanation.
Now here it cames a few tracks from the new album:
Slipknot - Psychosocial
Slipknot - Gematria
Slipknot - Sulfur
Slipknot - Dead Memories
